About the POSN Camp
The POSN Centers (Promotion of Academic Olympiads and Development of Science Education Foundation) are institutions dedicated to promoting and developing science and mathematics education to meet international standards. They also prepare students for academic competitions at the international level. POSN Centers are divided into Regional Centers and Bangkok Centers, which select students for training in Camp 1 and Camp 2 in five subjects: Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, Physics
Admission and Training Schedule
- Application Period: July each year
- Selection Exam: August each year
- Result Announcement: Around September each year
Training Camps
- Camp 1: Students who pass the selection exam will undergo training in October.
- Camp 2: Students who pass Camp 1 will continue training in March.
National Academic Olympiad Competition
The National Academic Olympiad Competition brings together students from all POSN centers across the country. The competition schedule varies depending on the host POSN center. The results are used to select a group of students for further training at IPST (Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology), where the final team is chosen to represent Thailand in international competitions for the five subjects.
Direct University Admission Privileges
Many universities offer special admission privileges to POSN students for direct entry into higher education. The foundation will publish details on the POSN website or the websites of participating universities.
